Info, Prices & FAQs

Every photo is retouched and edited, and includes multiple crops in both colour and monochrome in formats tailored for a range of uses.

Please read the FAQs below for guidance and info regarding the shoot.

  • There are a few things…

Firstly - Please come with an open mind. My shoots are very informal, and I try to make the often strange experience of being in the spotlight as fun and comfortable as possible.

Secondly - and its an important one - Have plenty of sleep the night before, drink plenty of water, and please lay off the booze the night before too. All this makes a huge difference to your complexion, and you’ll look loads better in your photos.

  • I work from the principle that if we’re comfortable we feel good, and if we feel good, we look good. So first and foremost, bring something comfortable. Also helpful is something that we can layer a bit - so a T-shirt and jacket or shirt. Generally not super bright colours as that can distract the eye a bit.

Also - importantly - please make sure they’re ironed, or at least not really crumpled.

  • My shoots run for up to 3 hours, so please leave sufficient time in your day. This means we’re not in a rush, and it gives us time to relax and enjoy the process, to experiment, and really get the most out of you and our time together.

  • Unless we’ve discussed it specifically, please be sparing. Less is generally more - particularly for headshots. Lots of makeup can often make skin appear unnatural in studio lighting. This particularly applies to actors, as any casting director will need to see you as you are - warts and all.

  • I usually have my dog, Maya, with me - a super friendly springer spaniel. Though she is very lovely, dogs aren’t for everyone, so please do let me know and I’ll not bring her with me. Neither of us will mind, and I want you to be as comfortable as you can.

  • If you are a returning client, you get 10% off the shoot (and always will, even if I have to change my prices). 10% discount also applies if you been referred to me. So do your mates a favour and send them my way!

I offer a student discount of 25% off!

  • Yes - in groups of up to 3. Each additional person is an extra £85, and that includes a free photo for each. Please allow the necessary additional time too.

This is different if booking for your business, so please refer to the option below.

  • Yes! Absolutely. For an individual, the normal rate applies. If you want shots for your team, for each shoot the standard price (inc. free photo) applies, with each extra pic at £25 per person/photo. Prices are negotiable if in larger numbers, so please do get in touch if you’ve any further questions.

The shoot can take place at your workplace, at my studio, or location of your choice.

  • If you feel you need it, of course you can. Though I take pride in guiding you through the process, making the experience as enjoyable and easy as possible.

  • Once the final photos have been chosen - by us on the day or by your agent - it usually takes a few days to get them to you.

  • No. Not any more I’m afraid.
